This year, the local e-marketing specialists are proud to announce their status as Platinum Sponsors for the Annual Alpha Golf Tournament. This charitable event held its inaugural competition on May 31, 2007, at the Northview Golf Club in Surrey, BC - a course that boasts a layout designed by golf great Arnold Palmer and is considered to be one of the most exciting and challenging golf courses in BC.
Organized by Alpha Ministries Canada and hosted by MC Ryan Walter, the tournament was a great success and welcomed such celebrity guests as beloved Canuck Trevor Linden and BC Lion teammates Lyle Green and Mark Washington, in addition to Ben Walter of the Boston Bruins. Some of the prizes available to lucky winners were: a Wake Board outboard motor boat with trailer, a Cadillac automobile, a Panasonic 32" LCD TV, a Golf & dinner for four package at Northview Golf Course, and a Spa Utopia package.
"We are very pleased to support such a worthy organization such as Alpha," said Chief Rhino Doug Morneau of his company’s sponsorship of the event. "We have been blessed over the years as our clients have prospered, allowing us to give more back to both the local and global community." As to the importance of Rhino Marketing’s involvement in community events, Morneau says, "Giving is a core value and part of what we believe in as a company. That’s why we’re here as a sponsor."
