How to Play

Lead the charge to the Cup! In Rhino Cup Run 2011 you are trying to get the most points in a Vancouver Canucks playoff round to earn top spot on the leaderboard. To get started, follow these easy steps:

  1. Sign-up if this is your first time playing, or sign-in if you have played before.
  2. Pick the final score for each of the games in the upcoming playoff round. If less than 7 games are played in the series, the unplayed games aren't counted.
  3. Next, pick the Canuck you think will finish as the playoff round leader in each of the presented stats categories. For example, if you think that Daniel Sedin will have the most goals in this round, pick him for the goal leader. Remember that you are choosing the leader for the upcoming round only, not for the entire playoffs.
  4. Pick how many shutouts you think the Canucks will get in this playoff round.

That's it! You're done. Now sit back, watch some playoff action, and keep track of your progress on the Rhino Cup Run leaderboard.

How to Earn Points

There are a few ways that you can earn points in Rhino Cup Run:

  1. For each game in a playoff round, if you pick the correct team to win, you get 5 points.
  2. For each game in a playoff round, if you pick the exact final score, you get 20 points. If you pick a score that is 1 goal off (for example you pick 4-2 for the Canucks, but the actual score ends up being 4-1), you get 10 points. If your score is 2 goals off you get 5 points. Anything more than 2 goals off doesn't earn any points.
  3. At the end of the playoff round, if you picked the correct leader in a stats category, you get 16 points. That's 16 points for each correct stats leader picked.
  4. At the end of the playoff round, if you picked the correct number of Canucks shutouts, you get 5 points.

Prizing

A prize will be awarded to the winner of each playoff round, for as many rounds as the Canucks remain in the NHL Playoffs. The winner is determined by having the most points for that playoff round, and appearing at the top of the round's leaderboard. If two or more people share the top spot on a round's leaderboard, the winner will be drawn randomly from these leaders.
