After completing consumer research in Toronto and Vancouver to understand the space, Rhino developed and executed a unique online branding competition. Using Web 2.0 approaches, "The Immunity Challenge" engaged category evangelists to submit brand and tagline ideas for the new product. A separate Challenge website was created which featured product description and background, an online application form (resulting in a detailed consumer profile), a contest Blog, live interactive chat on the site, a separate but complementary blog on Immune Health, e-mail, 'earned media' and online search-optimized press releases to drive traffic to the site. Advertising was also deployed on social networks such as FaceBook.
